There are some things in life that don’t arrive with noise.
They don’t shout.
They don’t interrupt.
They simply… exist quietly in the background.
Blood pressure is one of those things.
Many people walk through life feeling “fine,” not realizing that their body may be under stress beneath the surface.
That’s why blood pressure is often called:
“the silent killer.”
Not to create fear…
But to create awareness.

Blood pressure is the force of your blood pushing against the walls of your arteries.
Think of it like water moving through a hose.
Too much pressure over time can strain the system.
Too little pressure can mean things aren’t flowing the way they should.
And the tricky part is…
You may not feel it right away.
Why It’s Called the Silent Killer
High blood pressure often has no obvious symptoms for years.
You may feel:
🌿 normal
🌿 active
🌿 completely fine
And still have elevated levels.
Over time, untreated high blood pressure can increase the risk of:
• heart disease
• stroke
• kidney issues
Which is why awareness matters.
Not fear.
Just awareness.

How High Is Too High?
A simple way to understand it:
- Normal: around 120/80
- Elevated: 120–129 / less than 80
- High (Stage 1): 130–139 / 80–89
- High (Stage 2): 140+ / 90+
If numbers consistently stay above normal, it’s something to pay attention to.
How Low Is Too Low?
Low blood pressure is often considered:
🌿90/60 or lower
Some people naturally run low and feel fine.
But if it comes with symptoms, it may need attention.
⚠️ When to Seek Immediate Help
This part is important,
If you or someone you love experiences:
• severe chest pain
• difficulty breathing
• sudden confusion
• vision changes
• numbness or weakness
• severe headache
👉 Go to the emergency room immediately.
These can be signs of a serious medical emergency.
